A Letter to BSN

Few days ago, the Star online told me about "Creative Content Fund", a fund that could help me in making short film (to my understanding). So, I quickly "fire"-d an email to them.

Good Day Sir/Madam,

I came across from the Star Online[http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2010/4/1/nation/5970667&sec=nation] that there is this "Creative Content Fund".

I have been to a BSN branch at TTDI, KL for inquiries. Though the article from the Star online stated that we can apply at any BSN branch, employees at BSN branch at TTDI directed us to BSN HQ at Jalan Ampang.

My enquiries are:

1. What are the Terms and Conditions to apply for "Creative Content Fund"?
2. Could the fund be applied at any BSN branch? Or only at BSN Head Quarter?

Before the email was sent, I had been to the BSN branch at TTDI, as the article from the Star Online stated that "any branch" will do. Though, the employees there said the different things. Sigh~

They replied my email on the same day, but in Malay...

Jumlah pinjaman

· Minima RM50,000

· Maksima RM 5 juta


Tempoh pinjaman
· Minima 1 tahun

· Maksima 5 tahun


Margin pinjaman
· 90 % daripada kos projek

After reading through with heart and soul, I only half-ly understood the content. As my Malay language is bad. So, I asked my colleague for translation. And finally, I got what it meant.

Somehow, I don't think I'd apply for the fund yet. As I don't currently own any company and I know that to own one is not easy and is "expensive"!
